The Vampire Wants Him Back.
Gerome Never Dreamed He’d Want Her Too.

Nancy took the saying “till death do us part” a little too seriously when she became a vampire. Gerome tried to keep his wife away from Madeline. He failed. Now Nancy is undead, and he must stop her from becoming just like his regal and manipulative former master. But Madeline isn’t finished “helping” him. She calls in a friend—John Pinkerton, the head of a paranormal agency that hunts all things that go bump in the night. This paranormal private eye takes Nancy to a ranch in Montana where newborn vampires are rehabilitated, taught to survive on animal blood. It looks like Gerome’s problems are solved. Gerome knows better. Pinkerton doesn’t just bring Nancy to the ranch. He brings Maggie Stone, a woman who looks a little too much like Madeline—and soon the reason for the resemblance becomes clear. Before long, Gerome finds himself in the last place he ever wanted to be: Back inside Madeline’s mansion. This time another ancient vampire waits there—Marcus Archedes—who insists Gerome has another path. But the longer he stays, the stronger Madeline’s pull becomes. To make matters worse, Madeline is no longer the only one interested in Nancy. After all, feeding on an elder has consequences. Gerome must make a difficult choice: Return to life as Madeline’s slave, run, or burn the world. But he doesn’t know if any of these choices can save his wife.
